1. Casino Royale

When it comes to capturing crooks, smooth talking James Bond is famous for his winning streak. But can he keep his cool on the poker table? 

Casino Royale centres itself around a seriously high-stakes poker game, which Bond plays to bankrupt a terrorist banker.  

Like all Bond movies this film will have you sitting on the edge of your seat. Tune in now to see if Bond can front it out. 

2. Hard Eight

If Casino Royale hasn’t got you excited, maybe the A-List cast behind Hard Eight will. From Philip Baker Hall to John C. Reilly to Gwyneth Paltrow and Samuel L. Jackson, this film has got ‘em all. 

Be prepared to learn from the best as a hardfaced pro-gambler passes down the tricks of the trade. But as you’d expect, it’s not all sunshine and roses…

3. Casino 

Coming in at number three we’ve got the appropriately named, Casino. 

Based on a true story, Casino tells the story of how a mafia enforcer and casino executive compete against each other over a gambling empire and a sassy socialite.

If you like casinos and old school gangster mobs, this one’s for you. 

4. Ocean’s Eleven

This film doesn’t focus on winnings from one casino… instead it focuses on THREE. And we’re not talking about individual games. No, this faced paced crime movie is taking it way further. 

Ocean’s Eleven sets pulses racing as a gang of ex-con artists team up to rob 150 million dollars from an underground vault that serves three of Las Vegas' biggest casinos.

Do they get the funny money? Watch it and see. 

5. Rounders 

And finally, we’re tailing it off with our final gambling movie favourite, Rounders. 

Set in 1998, this movie goes in on the underground world of high-stakes poker. After losing all his money to a Russian gangster, main character, Mike McDermott promises to quit the game. But, when his friend gets back out of prison and there’s debt to pay, things take an unexpected turn.
