FOX Bet is the result of a partnership between a huge name in sports and a highly respected online betting operator. FOX Sports and The Stars Group (TSG) have teamed up to create an online sports betting site with recognizable branding and huge marketing power.
FOX Bet has a risk-free bet for new customers, friendly wagering requirements, and myriad sports, betting markets, and wager types to choose from. Let’s take a closer look at everything this exciting sportsbook offers to players.
Welcome Bonus Offer
The welcome bonus for new players at Fox gives a risk-free bet worth up to $500. This means that if you make your first bet and it’s unsuccessful, FOX Bet will give you a free bet to the same value, so you can have another try.
As is always the case with new customer bonuses, there are some terms and conditions to be aware of. To be eligible, your first bet and the free bet must both have odds of -200 minimum. Additionally, this offer is only available to FOX Bet registrations. This means that those who sign up at PokerStars, while having access to the site’s betting options, will not be able to take advantage of the FOX Bet welcome offer. On top of that, if you’ve ever claimed a welcome bonus at any other site on the TSG network, you will not be able to claim the FOX Bet bonus.
The wagering requirement is 1x. This means the value of your free bet must also be played through once to claim any winnings from it.
While the FOX Bet bonus doesn’t stand up against the giants of US online sports betting like BetRivers, it’s still a good offer, aided by the low wagering requirements and other relatively player-friendly terms.

Site Overview
FOX Bet is a joint venture between Fox Sports and TSG, who paired up in 2018, but didn’t launch the site until a year later. This sportsbook site may look familiar to experienced players because FOX Bet is essentially a reskin of BetStars, an existing TSG brand.
Arguably the biggest selling point of this casino is the branding. Even with many of FOX Sports’ state sports channels rebranding as Bally Sports in recent years, there is still a huge amount of weight behind the FOX name, in the world of sports and beyond.
For bettors, it is this brand recognition that may spark their interest at first, but there is a good range of sports markets in place to maintain that attention, in most states at least.
One of the biggest USPs for FOX Bet is that membership here allows access to other high-profile TSG sites. We’ll have more on that below.
Sports and Markets/Casino Games
The sports markets you can bet on at FOX Bet can depend on the state you’re in. For example, if you’re based in Michigan, the number of sports available is substantially smaller. On the other hand, players in Pennsylvania can bet on boxing, cycling, darts, football, handball, rugby, and more.
Of course, you can bet on all the major US leagues including the MLB, MLS, NBA, NFL, and NHL. You’ll often find a range of markets for a single sport, too. For example, click on soccer and you’ll open up a list of leagues from England, Germany, Italy, Mexico, and many more, as well as the Champions League and World Cup.
You’ll find some prop bets available, but fewer than are offered at some competitor sites. There is also no live streaming, which is odd, considering who’s behind this site.
For casino players, the state you’re in makes a significant difference. Sorry Michigan, but you lose out again, so does Colorado. That’s because players in New Jersey and Pennsylvania can access PokerStars and PokerStars Casino from their FOX Bet account.
The extensive list of slots, table games, and live casino offerings at PokerStars Casino adds quite the boost to the betting options.
If you are a fan of poker as well as sports betting, then the PokerStars team-up should be a dream come true. As one of the most well-known poker brands in the world, PokerStars offers a range of poker games and big-money tournaments, suitable for everyone from the beginner to the seasoned professional.
Special Features
When it comes to USPs, they don’t come much better than a membership to one of the world’s biggest poker brands free with your FOX Bet account. However, there are some perks for sports betting players at the main site, too. These include in-play bets including over/under, spreads, and prop bets. A good list, but we’d like to see more added.
Despite being owned by one of the biggest broadcasters on the planet, there are no live streams of sporting events available at FOX Bet. We are assuming that this will be a short-term issue. We imagine a FOX-branded sports betting site will add live streams of sporting events soon.
Promotions
The free bet welcome bonus is just the start when it comes to promotions for FOX Bet players. A visit to the promos tab reveals a bunch of exciting offers for existing players.
There are regular odds and parlay boosts, including Happy Hour Friday and Super Saturday Boosts, as well as free bets and a $50 free bet for referring a friend. For casino players, bonuses like free spins, casino refunds, and cashback on blackjack are regularly available.
The list of offers at FOX Bet is updated regularly, so be sure to check the promotions section to see what’s new. Mobile customers who use the FOX Bet app can turn notifications on and receive push messages which will bring the newest offers straight to your home screen.
Payment Options
US players are used to having minimal payment options, further hindered by several big banks not allowing payments to or from online casinos via credit or debit card. But for deposits, FOX Bet offers good variety.
Mastercard and Visa are deposit options at FOX Bet, but if that’s impossible for you, there are several other choices. E-wallet payments are available via PayPal and Skrill, as well as in-person options including PayNearMe, Vanilla Direct, and casino cages. You can also deposit by e-check if preferred. There are exclusive methods, too, in the shape of PokerStars Play+ Cards and Stars Transfer.
It should be noted that not all payment options are available in all states, so be sure to check the possible deposit options in your region to avoid disappointment.
For withdrawals, the choice of payment method is much more limited. The only options available are e-wallets and eChecks. It is possible to use a PokerStars Play+ Card in some circumstances, although players report this is rare.
Deposits are instant, but FOX Bet usually takes three days to process a withdrawal request. This is pretty slow compared to other US online betting sites, BetRivers, for example, processes a request in 24 hours or less.
That said, FOX Bet allows e-wallet withdrawals, meaning as soon as the site releases your funds, they should be in your PayPal or Skrill account very quickly, if not immediately.
Verdict
FOX Bet has some positives, for sure. The free bet welcome bonus is good and made better by the low wagering requirements that are attached. Ongoing bonuses and promotions are also impressive, and the ability to access multiple TSG casino sites, in certain states, is a big plus.
However, there are some definite downsides to be found. The selection of betting markets is decent in some states but more limited in others. Speaking of which, the fact that FOX Bet is only currently available in four states is a shame and something we hope changes soon.
The biggest disappointment for us is the lack of live streaming options. We expect a sports betting site presented by FOX Sports to have a wide array of live games streaming from the site, but there are none.
Again, this may change in the future, but until it does, FOX Bet can’t quite hold up against the biggest US online sportsbooks.
