To move up to Silver, all you need to do is verify your identity using a selfie and two identification documents. This will allow you to apply for the ecoPayz Mastercard, withdraw funds to your personal bank account, and more.
Moving up the next few tiers brings benefits like lower currency conversion fees and free transfers to other ecoPayz accounts — at Silver, there’s a 1.5% fee for the sender, but this becomes free from gold level.
To move up to Gold, a credit or debit card will need to be verified and you’ll need to have deposited a total of €5,000, and transferred to merchants the cumulative amount of €25,000, or equivalent in pound sterling.
ecoPayz Mastercard
The ecoPayz Mastercard is available in eight currencies and gives you greater flexibility with your finances. Users can store up to four cards in their ecoPayz account at a time and use these cards anywhere Mastercard is accepted.
Essentially, this means you have access to your ecoPayz funds in more places, such as when making an ATM withdrawal or buying something from a shop. You can freeze and unfreeze the card and access other advanced security measures from within your account.
It’s free to order a contactless ecoPayz Mastercard, and you can even get an ecovirtualcard instead if you just want to use it to shop online.
ecoPayz Mobile App
Checking your balance, making a deposit, and organising your prepaid Mastercards can all be done through the ecoPayz mobile app. Available for iOS and Android users through the Apple and Google Play stores respectively, the app is the perfect place to keep track of your transactions.
