If your player scores first and then goes on to bag another, you’ll get paid at double the odds. That’s not all though — if they complete their hat-trick, the first goalscorer bet will be paid at three times the original odds.

Acca Insurance

Another Betfred promotion for the football fans is Acca Insurance. We all know the pain of a well-crafted accumulator missing out by just one selection — with acca insurance, you’ll get your stake back up to £10 as cash in this scenario.

This is a recurring offer, so you just need to go ahead and place your bet to get started. The promotion applies to 5-fold football accumulators on games from all the top leagues and competitions around the world. The minimum odds required per leg of the acca are 1/2, and cashed out bets won’t be eligible. If your stake is more than £10 and the bet loses by one pick, you’ll just receive £10 back as this is the maximum.

Super Extra Place Races

Switching over to horse racing, we’ve got a handy promotion for fans of each-way bets. On selected races, Betfred will extend the number of places to four for each-way bets at 1/5 odds. This deal was available for the 14:05 and 15:15 races at Aintree on 23th October and will be back soon for more races.

This offer doesn’t apply to ante-post bets and you won’t get best odds guaranteed on Super Extra Place Races, unless the field drops below nine runners when win only will also apply. 

Opening up each-way bets to more places gives punters a better chance of landing a win on this type of wager. It’s not a promotion you’ll see at every sportsbook, so if horse racing betting is your forte it’s certainly worth a look.

Free Bet if 2nd

With this promotion, you’ll get your stake back as a free bet up to a maximum of £10 if your horse finishes second. The bet will need to be a win or each way single on one of the nominated races.

This is a recurring deal, so you’ll just need to check in and see which races are currently eligible. The minimum free bet refund is 50p, so bets below that won’t qualify. If your bet is above £10, you’ll still just receive a £10 free bet. If your selection does finish second and you receive a free bet, you’ll have seven days to use it before it’s removed from your account.

Overall, this is a handy offer for punters who aren’t sure whether to take a shot on a particular horse. If you lose your initial bet you’ll have the insurance of a free bet. However, other sites such as Grosvenor offer similar deals where you’ll actually get your bet back as cash if your selection comes second, which offers more flexibility than a free bet as you have the option to withdraw straight away.

All Correct Bonus

The All Correct Bonus is a promotion that rewards correct predictions. Punters can pick up a cash bonus of up to 25% if they land a winner on horse racing or greyhounds. 

Specifically, the bet will need to be one of the following: Lucky 15, Lucky 31, Lucky 63, Yankee, Canadian, or Heinz, placed on Horse Racing, Greyhounds, Virtual Horse racing, or Virtual Greyhounds.

If all your selections are winners, your payout will be increased by the following amounts:

• 10% bonus to all-correct Lucky 15/Yankee bets.

This is certainly a worthwhile offer for greyhound and horse racing fans. After all, you don’t have to do anything to qualify other than go ahead and place your bet. Even the smallest 10% bonus could be a hefty reward on larger wins — Betfred doesn’t state an upper limit for the bonus amount, so there’s a lot of potential with this promotion. The only real limitation is that landing all of the selections on these types of bets is a tricky business, so it’s important to stick to what you would usually bet rather than chase the promotion.

Strictly Come Dancing – Elimination Insurance

When we say there’s something for all interests at Betfred, it couldn’t be encapsulated much better than with this promotion. If you place a bet on the next contestant to be eliminated on Strictly Come Dancing and they don’t get eliminated, but are instead saved during the dance off, you’ll get your stake back as a free bet.

The maximum free bet you’ll receive is £10, and that’s the upper limit even if your original stake was larger. ‘Next Male Eliminated’ and ‘Next Female Eliminated’ markets don’t apply to this promotion.
