Rugby Union Internationals

In this promotion you can accept a matched free bet of up to £20 when you place a handicap acca on any international rugby union match. This promotion has a particularly short shelf life, standing from 9–10 July 2022. As with all the STS promotions mentioned, there are no unusual T&Cs, but be mindful of minimum bet limits of £5 and the usual payment method exclusions of Skrill, EcoPayz, MuchBetter and Neteller.

Women’s Euros 2022 

Called the Bore Draw Free Bet, this promotion allows you to get a £5 free bet from your wager on any game in the Women’s Euros that happens to end up as a 0–0 draw. There are time limits of use, however your free bet can be used on any sporting event. This offer ends 31 July 2022.

Wimbledon Live Betting 

Place £60 of live bets and you’ll receive £10 worth of free bets. Because it’s based on live matches, the qualifying bet must come from in-play bets only, and because the potential winnings come from tennis, all free bets must be placed on the sport. Offer ends on 10 July 2022.

Tour de France 

This promotion allows you to collect a £10 free bet each day, if your selected cyclist finishes second in that particular stage. This is based on a £20 single bet, there are no unusual terms and conditions to be wary of, however, restrictions on payment methods and time limits apply. This offer is available until 24 July 2022.

Horse Racing Loyalty Club

This is a great promotion for regular bettors on the horses. Sign up to the loyalty club and you’ll receive a £10 free bet each week. However, to be eligible you need to make at least five bets a week of at least £10 each, which may rule infrequent bettors out of claiming. What we like about this loyalty club is how clear and simple the terms and conditions are. In contrast, the restrictions are fairly limiting, meaning you can only use it on a certain type of bet within the horse racing field, as a single bet and with minimum odds of 1/2.

In terms of promotional end dates, there doesn’t seem to be one for the Horse Racing Loyalty Club, so we assume it’s a long-running scheme. While it’s a fun way to get some extra value out of the races, this offer may not appeal to higher rollers or those looking to bet outside their usual box. Comparing this offer with other sites, it’s nothing particularly special — names like Betfair currently offer odds boost deals, as well as money back if your horse fails to place. 

IEM Cologne 2022

Valid for participation from 5–10 July and/or 11–17 July 2022, this promotion sees players having the chance of gaining £10 worth of free bets each week, following a wager of £60 or more in live bets. Perfect for esports fans, this deal will certainly raise the excitement of an already full-on CS:GO tournament that’s affectionately known as “The Cathedral of Counter-Strike.”

There are quite a few rules around the bets allowed within this promotion, for example, the qualifying bet has to be placed with minimum odds of 1/2 if it’s a single bet, or each at least 1/4 if part of an accumulator. As with all promotions with STS, there are limitations on payment methods for withdrawals, and the free bets acquired must be used on esports events with certain minimum odds, and also within seven days. 

For us, this promotion is pretty good, but it’s nothing to get wildly excited about. There are many other sites that offer similar deals, such as 888sports who are currently offering £30 of free bets and a £10 casino bonus off a £10 bet. However, if you’re happy with STS and enjoy esports betting then it’s still a nice little deal for existing customers to get some additional value. 

Chocolate Challenge

For this promotion, between 7 July and 10 July 2022, participants can earn chocolate rewards through the completion of daily missions, though naturally, only the chocolate-themed slots are eligible to meet wagering requirements. The rewards vary depending on the mission but consist of perks such as casino bonus spins, and no deposit bonus rewards. 

As great as this promotion sounds, there are quite a lot of terms and conditions, however a quick read through shows us that they’re relatively easy to understand — for example, unique wagering requirements determined by the game involved, and bonus spins only being valid on certain games. There’s also a low maximum bet amount during bonus wagering of £2, meaning it’s no good for anyone aiming for the heavier wagers. But, if you comfortably know your way around the STS format, then it might be a bit of fun and a change to your normal pattern of play. 

Greentube Goodies

This promotion includes the Greentube portfolio of games, and includes 50% deposit bonuses of up to £50, as well as free spins on Lucky Lady’s Charm Deluxe. Extra 5+ Acca

STS offers to refund your stake as a free bet if you manage to correctly guess four out of your five Acca choices. There are quite a few qualifying criteria for this one, so we recommend having a thorough read through. Generally, it only covers pre-match bets, and requires the inclusion of five legs in your Acca. Bets within your acca need to be between £5 and £10 to qualify, with a minimum odds bet of 1/5 for each selection. Boosted odds and any other special bets markets are not included in qualification.

The rest of the terms are fairly standard, such as being valid for seven days, and you’re not able to cash out the free bet stake. Again, this offer won’t appeal to high rollers, but accas are always an entertaining way to bet.
