Karamba sports review overview
Karamba are an online sports betting website that allows players to gamble in the comfort of their own home. On top of offering a fully-fledged sportsbook, Karamba also facilitate casino games, live dealers, slots and scratch cards. The Karamba Sportsbook is fully regulated by a number of leading regulatory bodies. This includes licenses from the UK Gambling Commission, as well as regulators in Malta, Alderney and Sweden.
As is now crucial and customer demand in the online sports betting industry dictates, Karamba is full accessible via a mobile device. Players can gamble on the move, both pre-match and in-play.
Betting markets and odds at Karamba Sports
When you first access the Karamba Sports betting platform, the layout has a familiar feel to it. On the left hand side you have a list of featured sporting events, with the full range of sports listed below. On the right of the platform, there is a selection of recommended bets. The rest of the main platform combines a list of pre-match events, alongside the games that are currently available to bet on in-play.
Overall, the amount of sports available at Karamba is huge. Whilst popular sports such as football, tennis, cricket and rugby are covered, the likes of handball, Gaelic football and floorball also make an appearance. We also liked the fact that the Karamba Sports betting platform offers horse and greyhound racing markets.
When it comes to the underlying odds, we found that the platform is slightly less competitive than the odds offered by the major players. Moreover, we also found that the platform offers a smaller list of alternative markets, especially regarding handicap bets.
So now that we’ve covered the main pre-match platform, let’s see what the in-play department is like.
In-play betting and extra features – Karamba Sports review
In order to access the in-play section, you simply need to click on the ‘In-play Betting’ button at the top of the page. Once there, you’ll be presented with a list of games that are currently in-play. At the top of the page, you’ll see the list of sports that have markets, which is clearly identified by both an image and the name of each sport. Once you find the market that you want to bet on, Karamba Sports then displays a live infographic, which details real-time statistics.
We found that the number of markets offered for less-popular games was fairly reasonable. Moreover, we also found that placing an in-play bet was a seamless process, with no issues experienced.
On top of the live betting facility, the Karamba Sports betting platform also has a ‘Cash Out’ feature. This allows you to cash out your bet before the event has concluded. However, we did note that the cash out feature wasn’t available as often as other sportsbooks. Moreover, when the option was available for a particular game, the cash out button seemed to keep greying out.
So now that you know what both the pre-match and in-play departments offer, in the next part of our guide we are going to explore what promotions are in place.
Deals and promotions
As is now standard practice in the online sports betting market, the team at Karamba Sports offer new players a welcome package to lure them to their platform. If you are yet to open an account, Karamba Sports have a ‘Bet £10, Get £10’ offer in place.
We found that you need to place the £10 qualifying bet on odds of Evens or greater. Once the qualifying bet settles, Karamba Sports will then credit your account with the free £10 bet. Even better, there is no need to wager the free bet bonus. However, we also found that the welcome package is not available for those depositing funds with Neteller, Paysafe or Skrill.
Regarding promotions for existing players, we found a couple of notable offers. This includes the ‘KaramBOOST’ promotion, which offers amplified winnings for successful accumulator bets. This starts at a 4% boost for accumulators of 4 legs, right up to 77% for a 15-fold! Outside of the Karamba Sports betting section, there are also a range of ongoing promotions in the casino and slots department.
So now that we’ve covered the promotion side of things, in the final part of our Karamba Sports review we are going to explore what payment methods the operator accepts.
Payments and withdrawals – tonnes of options to select
We found that the Karamba platform has a funding method to suit most needs. This covers debit and credit cards, across Visa, MasterCard and Maestro. E-wallet methods includes Skrill and Neteller. We also found that Entropay, Trustly, Sofort, Paysafecard and ecoPayz are supported.
When it comes to withdrawals, we found that the operator is quite slow in processing payments. In total, debit and credit card withdrawals seem to take in the region of 6-8 days before they land in your account, with e-wallet withdrawals taking around 3 days. Moreover, we also found that the dreaded ‘Reverse Withdrawal’ option is available until the operator processes the payment.
Karamba Sports review summary
In summary, we found that the Karamba Sports betting platform has a number of things going for it. Both the pre-match and in-play sections are fairly extensive, with the platform also facilitating bets on less-popular sports. Whilst the number of individual markets could be better, they still covered the fundamentals.
In terms of promotions, we were not overly impressed with the size of the welcome package, which is limited to just £10. However, we did like the accumulator bet boost that is in place, offering a maximum boost of 77% for winning bets of 15-legs or more.
Finally, although the amount of supported payment methods is substantial, withdrawal times are quite a bit slower in comparison to other sportsbooks.
